Throughout my career, I have faced numerous challenges that have pushed me to grow and adapt. From navigating complex projects to overcoming setbacks, each obstacle has ultimately led to valuable lessons learned. Despite the challenges, I have also experienced many achievements along the way. Whether it be successfully completing a major project or receiving recognition for my hard work, each achievement serves as a reminder of my determination and dedication to my craft. I am grateful for both the challenges and achievements that have shaped me into the professional I am today.
Lemos gets up from it though but Weili still has her against the fence and lands a nasty elbow. Small shots. She’s wearing on Lemos now who is starting to look pretty tired. Combination from Weili as she breaks. Lemos looking very sluggish now.
Very nice work out from collaborators at the University of Wisconsin-Madison demonstrating the utility of modulated longitudinal coupling for reading out solid-state qubits. Check it out. We’ve been working on these concepts since at least 2016 so nice to see the ideas validated in real life. This approach to readout not only promises to enhance readout speed and fidelity but allows you to design quantum computer architectures where the qubit has a very small frequency relative to the readout circuit (or vice versa!) which is really important for new types of protected qubits headed your way.
Round 5: Two-fisted attacks continue from Ball. He’s not scoring with everything, but the challenger is making a big impression with the work rate. BIG left uppercut from Ball, who spins out to his right. The champ sustains more facial damage. Big round for Ball.
Round 8: Another right from Dubois. Hrgovic struggling with the cuts and now pounded to the body. The doctor inspects the eye damage. IT IS OVER!!! It’s a TKO win for Dubois because the cuts were caused by punches. The Englishman ratcheted up the aggression over the last two or three rounds and was rewarded. This is the best win of his career and sets him up for a world title fight.
Yarde (24-3, 23 KOs), 32, from Ilford in east London, was stopped in eight rounds by unified titleholder Artur Beterbiev in January and got his career back on track with a simple win over late replacement Silva (22-9, 12 KOs), from Portugal.
Kurbanov (25-1, 13 KOs) entered the bout on the heels of a career-best win, a split-decision over Michel Soro. The 27-year-old Kurbanov also owns wins over former titleholders Liam Smith and Patrick Teixeira. Kurbanov is ESPN’s No. 7 junior middleweight.
Round 8: Left hand scores again from Ford, who is going through the gears now. The New Jersey-based star is immensely skilled and he picks Ball off again with a huge left uppercut. Blood is pouring from the challenger’s nose and he’s distracted by the injury.
Joseph Parker continued his career resurrection with a majority decision win over Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia, which comes less than three months after he pulled off a massive upset to beat Deontay Wilder.
Joe Joyce won the WBO Interim World Heavyweight title in a September 2022 bout against Joseph Parker. Zhang’s last bout before facing Joyce was in August 2022 when he suffered his first loss to Croatian Filip Hrgović, after a close-fought battle where he lost by unanimous decision in what was described as a “generous” decision by broadcaster Sky Sports after a “bizarre” performance by Hrgović.
Wilder is settling in this round a little better. He’s staying site in yahoo.com the middle more and has thrown a few right hands. Still mostly lead hand shoving, but this is better. UGLY jab from Wilder and Zhang lands a left to the body. Wilder ducks a left from Zhang. Credit where due, his defense has been pretty good. But it’s all he’s showing.
But Zhang still faces a wait to get to Usyk as the WBO’s No. 1 challenger. Usyk is expected to hold talks with Fury about a unification title fight, and IBF mandatory challenger Filip Hrgović is then next in line for a shot at Usyk.
Zhilei weighs around 250 pounds and stands at 6 feet, 6 inches, towering over most of his opponents. Still, it’s not just his stature that commands attention but also his phenomenal athleticism and punching power, which have earned him accolades in the boxing world.
